New Mexico's high desert just outside of Taos; the sage and spirit serve as the inspiration for each creation. The wide open space, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, and the Rio Grande River are all part of the landscape that surrounds Sessann Orne, the creators home. The natural world, late 60s/1970s fashion, music, counterculture, and the art/craft movement, Scandinavian folk art, and outsider art all inspire to each piece that is created in her home studio.

Each piece is lovingly hand crafted and unique. All hand cut, hand stitched, hand burned or painted. No two pieces are ever exactly the same. Each piece is made of the highest quality deerskin, cowhide, beads, stones, bones, and gems. All pieces are made with intention and great care.

Creator and owner, Sessann Orne, grew up in the neighborhoods of Venice and Laurel Canyon of Los Angeles, greatly influenced by the bohemian and rock n' roll history that reside in the shores and hills of those places.

The call of the wild west became increasingly strong throughout her life, and in January of 2009, she left her home in Los Angeles, as well as a thirteen career as a West Coast Visual Merchandise Manager, trend forecaster, stylist, and concept developer, and moved to the high desert of New Mexico's northern plains, where she now resides off of the grid in their hand built cabin with her boyfriend and their, garden, family of animals, and a myriad of land and home projects. The two are continuing the build their home and studios by hand.

She spends her days homesteading, cooking, growing food and flowers, crafting, collecting vintage, and making hand crafted leather goods. Influenced by her surroundings, her collection of vintage 60s/70s books, clothes, and ceramics, as well as the untamed New Mexico landscape.
